FAIR Sends Letter to Brown re: Segregated Training

FAIR

On June 15th, FAIR sent a letter to the president of Brown University regarding the University’s plans to offer a teacher training program "for People Who Identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or Latino/Latina/Latinx.”  The classes “will be taught by people of color.” The FAIR letter states that while FAIR “supports efforts to achieve greater fairness and assist those in need of financial assistance in higher education…establishing a teacher training program based on skin color or ancestry violates Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.”
